How do I make a booking?

I tend to book 3-5 months in advance. Please email your idea to my assistant, and we will let you know if we can welcome you. If there is availability, she will respond with a questionnaire to start the booking process.

what do you charge?

I ask $200 deposit to secure a booking. Beyond that, my rate is $200/hour of tattooing. Tips are very much appreciated. I’m happy to adjust the size or complexity of a design to accommodate a budget, as long as we coordinate that in advance.

do you offer consultation?

Yes, mornings are the best time to set up a 15 -30 minute consultation. If you want a very large project that will require 2 or more sessions of tattooing, we can set up a longer time to strategize the piece in person.

Can I see the design before the session?

Designs are not delivered prior to the session, but we can make changes together on the day of the appointment. If you are planning a larger project, we can also set up a fitting ahead of time.

03

how do i prepare for a session?

One week before your tattoo, exfoliate the area, moisturize daily..

In the 24 hours before your tattoo, please avoid alcohol, aspirin, or other non-prescribed blood thinners. (If you are prescribed a blood-thinning medication, tell us in advance so we can plan sessions accordingly).

Please arrive to the studio hydrated, well-fed and well-rested. Snacks are encouraged, especially for longer sessions. If you arrive drunk, high, or hung over, we will not be able to tattoo you and you will lose your deposit.

What kinds of projects do you accept?

I prefer to work on larger scale projects with the subject matter of reptiles, birds, mammals, plants, and mythological beings.

Do you accept flash designs?

No, all of my tattoos are custom drawn, and tailored to the individual based on the idea, size, budget, and placement on their body. However, if you’d like a tattoo inspired by any of my previous work, I’ll be happy to make you something similar.

Do you work with color ink?

I work primarily in black and grey tones, with occasional red or blue color accents.

04

Can I get a tattoo under age 18 with parental consent?

Unfortunately, no. While it is legal in Florida to do this, I don’t feel comfortable tattooing anyone under the age of 18.

What is your cancellation policy?

All deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel with 48+ hours notice, we can roll over your deposit to a new appointment within 1 calendar year of the original date. Maximum (2) rescheduled dates. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, or ask to reschedule 3+ times, we unfortunately will need a new deposit to move forward.

05

What are your covid-19 safety precautions?

As was the case pre-COVID, I operate with the highest standards of sanitation, sterilization and overall hygiene. You must wear a mask and wash hands upon entry. If you or someone in close contact with you has experienced any COVID-related symptoms (fever, intense coughing, loss of taste or smell, etc) please tell me as soon as you can and we will reschedule your session.

I tattoo a maximum of 1-2 people per day, to limit foot traffic in the studio. You may bring 1 guest to the appointment, but they will be asked to wait in the lobby. It’s preferable to come solo, if possible. All needles, tubes, ink caps, and other materials are sterile, and single-use disposable.
